GLENDORA, Calif. (March 14, 2016) – Tickets for the 25th annual California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Automobile Club of Southern California Oct. 21-23 are on sale to the general public. The event is the celebration of hot rod culture presented by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum. The event takes place yearly at Auto Club Famoso Raceway, McFarland, Calif.

The three-day event will celebrate its silver anniversary and during the weekend as legends of the sport of racing will be honored. Select Grand Marshals from the 24 past years will be in attendance and take part festivities surrounding the event.

New for 2016 will be an honoree presentation at the track on Friday night and fans in attendance will be able to take part in the unique experience. The California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Automobile Club of Southern California will host an after-party at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bakersfield immediately following the presentation. The after-party will be a perfect way for fans to visit, get autographs, and mingle with their heroes.

The event features cool cars, hot nostalgia quarter-mile nitro drag racing and the celebration of the history of drag racing will take place during the three-day event. The event has become a can’t miss tradition in the area and has become one of the finest events in Kern County during the year.

Tickets are $25 for a single day and a three –day pass can be purchased for $65 before October 7th. Quarter-Mile Courtyard seating is just $150 for the weekend and includes exclusive grandstand seating near the starting line, amenities, and parking. Children 15 and under are free with paid adult. AAA members can save on this event by entering their first three digits of their membership card at checkout. Tickets can be purchased at www.nhra.com/hotrodreunion.

The California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Automobile Club of Southern California is produced by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum and benefits the facility located in Pomona, Calif. The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum is a 501c(3) non-profit institution and collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets the vehicles, stories, and artifacts that represent the influence of, automotive speed and style in all its forms.

• SCHEDULE: The event begins at 8 a.m. each day with racing beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21; Racing starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 22; And 9 a.m. on Sunday Oct. 23.

• TICKETS: Single day tickets are only $25, $75 at the gate for a three-day ticket, and children 15 and under are free accompanied by paid adult.
